Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s accordion style 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye.

Chris, I LOVE it!!!!!!!! A thrilling and beautiful image!!!!! Love what you’ve done, you clever boy!!!!! A fave from me, for sure!!!!! OOO And congratz on your feature!!!! YAY!!!
Hi Lois, spent all day on this one and crashed my machine three times while doing it (luckily I save frequently even though this PC is usually well behaved) I had soo many layers and was working at full 16 × 20 inches size – I must be nuts!!!! Anyway got there in the end! So many great things to play with from this recent trip home. Thank you so much for that wonderful Lois Bryan comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t know much about airplanes but I know I love this PICTURE!!! Great work Chris :)
I admit to attempting to entertain more than teach about aviation so that’s just fine with me Donnie! :-) Thanks so much indeed for this great compliment. Greatly appreciated. Cheers.

laughing at you … well, I’m glad you saved … ooo those crashes … scary, aren’t they???
They are indeed, on the first one I had just moved my chair and bumped another computer that wasn’t even on and I just couldn’t understand why my screen had gone black till I realized the damn thing had crashed and it was completely unrelated to my moving the other machine. Go figure!!! :-0
