Another 35mm Oldie but Goody. The Manhattan & Brooklyn Bridges shot from the observation deck on the roof of the World Trade Center in the early eighties. Note the lack of a park around the foot of the bridges in Brooklyn. The River Cafe is also non-existent.

Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at

  • I used to love to go up there and just hang. It was so peaceful and quiet far above the noise of the city. I still almost can’t believe I can’t do that anymore. It was for sure the best city view in the world. Nice of you to stop by John, Thanks very much.
