Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at www.PixielatedPixels.com

What a beauty Chris, the bird looks like it is walking on water. We are sweltering here and this cools me for a moment. Nicely done !! lol Cheers Ian

  • Someone on another site thought that I had added the bird and complimented me on it’s placement and size. I had to laugh as this is one time when the bird was just there when I took the shot. Thanks for a great comment Ian, much appreciated. Cheers

Not enough birds frozen there to take it away. LOL

  • Strangely around the corner behind this area there was a huge flock of gulls standing on the ice. Here just the one perfectly placed poser. I am glad I left him in the shot, he has become an object of conversation! Good to hear from you John, thanks for dropping in. Cheers.

  • Oh I missed this one too! Sorry about that, especially as your warm and lovely remarks are very good for my poor old ego! Thanks so much Polly, I am extremely appreciative if a bit too busy to stay on top of things here for a few weeks.
