Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at www.PixielatedPixels.com

    Brave man great capture:)

  • Not so brave Jillian, I have to admit to being firmly on the ground when I shot the plane flying by but thank you none the less for a great comment. Cheers.

Great capture!! Looks like you were in the next plane to take this shot.

  • Ah, that’s because of a little mischief in Photoshop involving some clouds I shot from a regular airliner! :-)I’m not as brave as you going up and jumping out of planes! I prefer magic! Thanks John for another great comment. Cheers.

    Not tempted then? Fabulous colour.

  • A few years ago I went for a joyride in a NYPD Helicoptor (My Friend’s sister was the pilot) As we flew in a very tight circle at about 80 degrees tilt around the top of the Empire State Building I realized that I was lying on the door. My fear of heights hit with a nasty zing as I thought what would happen if the door opened! Otherwise I loved the flight and I would happily go up in a biplane as long as I was firmly strapped in! But I would be nervous!
Of course if I had a camera with me I would be too busy to worry.
Thanks for checking it out and commenting. Cheers.
