A Red Breasted American Robin In A Textured Fall Scene

BEAUTIFUL GRUNGE ART Permanent Feature Page

Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at www.PixielatedPixels.com

So different from the UK Robin.

  • Yes, they look quite different and these guys are twice the size – about the size of a large English Thrush. (Not that you see many Thrushes in Europe anymore, the French ate them all!) We have lots of these in the parks around New York. Thanks for visiting Michael, appreciate your comment. Cheers.

Aww not the same as Mr Robin over here ! Great shot thouh
    gh Chris !!

  • No these guys are nowhere near as cute and pretty as English Robins. English Robins have the Christmas Card monopoly I think. But for that over here we have red Cardinals which are really deep RED – all over! Still these birds are cool though and they do very well here. Thanks Colin.

They are neat looking birds. Awesome capture!!

  • I like ‘em. They are kinda bold and will pose for you if you don’t appear dangerous. This one didn’t quite know what to make of me! Like most people! :-) Thanks for checking it out John, much appreciated. Cheers.
