The sculpture of the “Angel of Waters” tops the famous Bethesda Fountain in New York City’s Central Park. This long exposure image was made using a Canon 5D MKII and assisted by using flashlights to “light paint” the fountain during the 36 second exposure.

Photography has been an obsession since I was 13 years old and went off to Italy clutching my mother’s 1940s roll film camera. I’ve been fooling with computers since I bought an Amiga 1000 back in 1985. My first chunky pixelized images were digitized into that machine using a black and white CCTV camera. At last, with today’s software and hardware I feel that I can create the images I see in my mind’s eye. Visit my website at www.PixielatedPixels.com

Love it my friend!! Well done indeed!!

  • I would never go into that park alone at night but once again going with a group paid off. This was a fun experiment with the flashlights and all and I’m glad I came away with a few good shots. Thank you once again JR, cheers.
