BEAUTY

As I sit by the water’s edge
The waves rolling up the sand
And I think of this land
The land that I live upon
And feast from
In her natural beauty

We take her seed of life
And yet we do not repay her
She holds so many
And yet only a few really love her
This land of life’s long dream
A heaven in its own true scene

It’s beauty and it’s serene
The island of every human’s dream
And yet so many seem to mock her
And ruin her by their thoughtless stupidity

They do not love her
They only use her
As the dumping ground
Of their own fury.
