AT TIMES

At times you will remember
The distant times gone by
And you will want to sit alone
And cry a little and laugh.

At times you will remember
The sunrises and sunsets
The distance of the past
And you will want to wonder

At times you will remember
The lost and lonely paths
And you will sit alone and see
That time has come at last

To go on forth along your way
Leaving the past back in the past
Of all the pain and sorrow
And all the darkened days

Remember only tomorrow
With other sunrises
And sunsets

And hopefully
No other upsets.
