    LOVE THIS!!!!

There’s something about film, isn’t there. Stunning capture and great example of time lapse night photography.
The light of the cars is balance and contrasted brilliantly with the the black of the sky and perspective is awesome.
Also, follows the thirds rule nicely….draws the eye and captivates.

    Instant favourite!!!

    : )

  • Hi Jan…how’s the ankle?..better I hope :)
I love night and time lapse photography but have to admit…pretty easy to do with a good old Hasselblad…not mine…was my bosses who I worked for in photographic studio…one of THE best cameras ever. Agree, there certainly is something about film…find it can be manipulated better than digital…in both developing the film and printing process.
    Thanks for favouring this one.

Hi CJ…an update on the ankle…well I think I did a pretty good job on it from the reaction I received from the physio, among others. 2 and a half weeks on and I am back to driving, (for 5 days now) managed to get a shoe on a week ago tomorrow, when I went down to one crutch. Then it was no crutch and foot strapped.
So yes…almost there now. Will just need quite a bit of physio.

    But thanks for asking!

Now that you’ve told me what camera you used I am not in the slightest bit surprised…in fact it explains the incredible quality and longevity of the shot.

I look forward to many more….

    : )

  • Great to hear your ankle is good now…a quick healer :) Would imagine a darn nuisance having to use crutch.
Hasselblad’s…LOVE them…hard not to get a good shot using that make of camera. Have more but been busy, once again, with house guests…will put more up soon.
    Take care. CJ xox
