Mysticism, Religion and Life by C J Lewis

Posted on August 31, 2010

The mysticism to life is as you make it, through what you put out in the first place.

It is part of the movement of energy on Earth in conjunction with the energies of the ruling planets, the Moon and Sun, over the Earth.

As the energies of the planets (Moon; the governing male energy, Earth; the nurturing female energy and the Sun; the balancing energy of the nature of life) keep the equilibrium; the balance, in harmony grouped together on the molecule structure of this Universe.

In physical (and spiritual) life one has to learn how to live along with that harmonic energy for as we put out via human energy (our thoughts, words and actions) is what we receive back eventually, both in the physical life over time, and the spiritual more spontaneously.

The energy of people sets a fourth energy level into being with the energies of the planets and that energy creates a kinetic energy effect.

The energy (in thoughts, actions: deeds, and words) that you put out in life is also the energy you receive back upon yourself that creates your reality of being, the way you live your life, be it in a good way or a bad way. It is cause and effect.

“As you give so shall you receive”
“As you sow, so shall you reap”

And other such olden days philosophies therefore, if humans want to keep putting out anger and violent actions then that is all they will receive back as their lot in life for that is all they have put out in the first place.

To bring peace to Earth then people must understand the working of the energies of life.

The answers to peace have always been there for humans to follow written as words of wisdom in many great books of past ages; the Bible, Koran and Torah, to name a few. It must be remembered that people wrote such books in their days, when there was not a great deal of materialism around and the most important work they had to do was tending to their own well-being for survival. As such, they had a lot more time to actually look into what life was about at those times.

Also it should be realised that a lot of the passages they wrote were channel writings that were no doubt passed through to them, spiritually, from ancestors that had passed over. Blood is thicker than water and the connection of the bloodline is always available if one is open to such phenomenon.

It really is quite simple and since simplicity is the key to life then people have to come to a time when they need to wake up, take on their own commitment to responsibility of self-discipline so as to grow with a maturity befitting that of an adult and realise that to have a good life it is really up to them self.

Individually, we stand independently, but with interdependency; collectively depending on each other to create the type of world we live in.

No one else can do it for anyone else individually for all people have their own independent energy wave they emit which they must learn to control for the way they want their life to be.

The vibrations of the interdependent waves, the collective waves, come together to form the outcome of this world. Chaos is created when there are too many conflicting views, and therefore vibrations, being emitted.

Most people want a peaceful, loving life but while this world has some that want wars, murder and other atrocities there will never be a harmonic energy balance. The lack of equilibrium will create chaos; confusion.

As will the lack of understanding the nature of life of which it seems a lot don’t have due to committing atrocities such as murder even in the name of war. Such individuals do not realise that eventually in a life time, since life is an eternal journey if one has the faith and belief to believe it is, as Jesus did and proved through coming back to this world three days after his crucifixion on the cross, then such people will have to also receive their atrocities back upon themselves at some stage. That may well be when they are having the best life of their eternal journey but they will only have themselves to blame since they didn’t stop and smell the roses, so to say; learn about what it is they are a part of.

As stated by Dr M. Scott Peck is his book “The Road Less Travelled”:

‘Consequently, among the members of the human race there exists and extraordinary variability in the breadth and sophistication of our understanding of what life is all about.

This understanding is our religion. Since everyone has some understanding – some world view, no matter how limited or primitive or inaccurate – everyone has a religion. This fact, not widely recognised, is of the utmost importance: everyone has a religion.

We suffer, I believe, from a tendency to define religion too narrowly. We tend to think that religion must include a belief in God or some ritualistic practice or membership in a worshiping group. We are likely to say of someone who does not attend church or believe in a superior being, ‘He or she is not religious’. I have even heard scholars say such things as: ‘Buddhism is not really a religion’ or ‘Unitarians have excluded religion from their faith’ or ‘Mysticism is more a philosophy than a religion’. We tend to view religion as something monolithic, cut out of whole cloth, and then, with this simplistic concept, we are puzzled as to how two very different people can both call themselves Christians. Or Jews. Or how an atheist might have a more highly developed sense of Christian morality than a Catholic who routinely attends mass.’ (Extracted from: “The Road Less Travelled” – Part 3 Growth and Religion, Section: World Views and Religion, page 199)

The students of Mysticism, their religion, tend to look into the nature of life without becoming influenced by those wanting to enforce their limited view of what religion actually is, and as such they tend to grow more spiritually having surpassed that hurdle and therefore learn more from nature even though books of religion do have wisdoms within them pertaining to the workings of nature as in the sayings above however, they are not readily explained in layman’s terms for some to comprehend.

A lot of the old Masters of Art were students of Mysticism, particularly Leonardo De Vinci who would look into nature as if almost focusing his eyes as a magnifying glass to see as deeply into the structure of whatever he was viewing at the time. One of his pastimes being to sit by a pond, or river, and look deeply into the water where he would witness extremely tiny animalcule; a microscopic animal, that appeared to have a rotor spinning on the top of its head. This could well have given him the idea for the drawing of the helicopter found amongst his notes left behind. I have seen such an animalcule myself when looking with great concentration into a pond at my local park and they move very much like a helicopter, hovering then suddenly spinning their little rotor faster and taking off sideways or diving deeper into the water.

One can also see through looking at the works of Michelangelo that he too was a very spiritual man who looked closely into life. There was no other way he could have painted the masterpieces of which he did without studying what life was about.

Looking into nature teaches a lot of which some are not even aware, on many different levels and various degrees of understanding suitable for what one is ready to learn. For some that may be in this lifetime, for others it may be in lifetimes still to come through having further life experiences.

As the old saying says: Patience is a virtue.

As my father told me: With Love you have everything and that did not necessarily mean material objects.

It should not be forgotten that there are also various degrees of Love;

Genuine, Real or True love, which basically means concern for others in wanting to help them in their physical, and spiritual growth to the point of even using what is called Tough Love as an aid to teach those that need a lesson of which an example would be: being able to say no when it is needed for the safety of the other, or self.

And:

Romantic love; which is more chemical based in that it is inflicted with the feeling of sexual desire but often fleeting once that desire is sated, it is also known as desire of the flesh on one degree, and can also mean that people just want to continue being physical beings from a more spiritual viewpoint of understanding life on another degree. This is the love that most people tend to marry for and that often hurts any offspring created from such a liaison as they are not seen as an individual entity but as an extension of one, or both, parents, particularly those with narcissistic views and those who do not understand the degrees of love through the lack of genuine love in their life.

All degrees of Love come with commitment and responsibility of, and to, self-discipline, as indeed does life itself come with such need, for the growth physically and spiritually of not only people but also this world as to the type of world that people want to inhabit.

For further knowledge and a greater understanding of the psychology of love, and life, I would recommend reading the book mentioned above.

Well, I just don’t know what to say here. This reminds me a bit of what you said to me in a comment on one of my writings… about just speaking to an animal instead of not speaking at all. I see here, in a sense, for often not wanting to share my thoughts and/or comments with others because of the damage they might cause. But it is always funny that, though the words we say to others are more often than not comforting or helpful than they are harmful, it is always the ones that do cause pain that we tend to hold on to and remember. I see how, as you say, the transfer of energy always comes back to the transferrer in one way or another. That must be the self-preservation kicking in, as our sub-conscious brain… or maybe even our reptilian brain, knows of these truths as a check and balance system to avoid future damage to self.

I love how your work is at once inspiring, but also so inspired itself. I love your references and the resources you use it the formulation of your works. Surely you are no rookie as pertains to your subject matter, and I find it to be an honor to actually be able to have such a tool as RedBubble is, that I may be able to not only read such truth-filled messages, but to even communicate directly with the creator of such masterful compositions. You are a blessing, Chris.

Also, I have found in my short Spiritual walk that Christians actually frown on and do not agree with religion. To born-again Christians, Christianity is Truth. Everything in the Bible is bond… is set in stone. Not that there is anything wrong with that viewpoint, it is just that it has somewhat put me in somewhat of a conundrum. Sure, everyone has their own ways and views, and so do I. I enjoy reading up on other ideas and philosophies. I accept the Truth that goes along with the Old and New Testaments, and hold it to be my guiding Light. But to think that by looking into some other beliefs as doing something wrong is a bit unsettling. Sure, there is no one to judge me but me, and my actions are entirely my actions, but for a born-again Christian to look elsewhere almost makes a born-again not feel so much like a born-again Christian. Surely it all goes back to how we live our lives and what we actually hold in our hearts as being true… I’d guess.

Thank You, C J Lewis, for sharing this wonderful and thought provoking dissertation. There is plenty of material to meditate over in this. I would do well to follow up on your book recommendation as well. It probably wouldn’t hurt to spend a bit less time in the ‘Bubble" and more time in a book. Not that I don’t read books, it’s just that I have too many to read in this lifetime (its true), and I always seem to find quality material to read within this community. Plus, it is great to interact and actively read/write! Great Stuff! Thanks Again!

Yes, there’s snakes, lizards and turtles (reptilian mindsets) of all types out there … lol … thank heavens I know I am of spirit :)

Wow … thank you so very much for your wonderful comments and compliment … I truly appreciate your words and feel very humbled by them … actually brought me to tears of joy to feel so appreciated.

To me, our sub-conscious is like a filing cabinet, not only for memories but also for ideas, thoughts and input from outside forces, as well as those I ponder on … I open the cabinet now and then, particularly when an idea or thought keeps popping up without rest, to really analyze what it is I am to learn from it … and in my degree of understanding the process of life, I usually learn quite a lot but I also pray and ask for the answers or explanations, of which usually come in one form or another … I like to say from God. I am a Christian and have always lived that way … with Truth, to the point my mother once told me that my truth would hurt me one day … but … as I said to her in return: ‘I would rather live with 5 minutes of pain than a lifetime of guilt’. Honesty in all things is a section of Truth … I have been truthful in my life therefore I receive Truth back about life … cause and effect :)

RB is a wonderful community of people from all walks of life who are prepared to view the works of others for what they are … their freedom of expression … which is great … an acceptance on this site that is somewhat rare in this offline world.

I think that book would be a great eye opener for you to read … I read such books to verify that I am on the right track so to say … to validate my views for myself, and if my views are validated through reading material of others, then I put them out there in the hope they may help others as well. I am very happy that these writings have come at a time to help you too :) Take care. CJ

Your dissertation was very enlightening… and even though you have stated where your beliefs have come from, and what they have been incorporated with, I respectfully decline to hold your views as my truth, and will continue on the path I have found to be my own. There are a lot of truths to what you share; however, and I say this with the utmost respect for you and your views, they are quite different and seem to be an amalgam of Mysticism, Metaphysics and other varying aspects of man… regarding the spiritual matters- more attuned to a New ager than not. I am not casting disparaging remarks here, the varied views you have put forth as your truth seem to me, my opinion, as a dispersion or mixture of such a diverse variety and could fit in the New Age heading more than any other. Just not my cup of tea… but blessings on you for your love of love, good energy vs. bad energy and a faith in things spiritual beyond this world.

  • C J Lewis:

I have been channel writing since a young teenager … this is one of those instances. Usually I learn what things are about as I let the flow come. I ask questions of God … and get answers back.

Not sure that you could call it New Age … I am not even sure what New Age stuff is, since I don’t look into it … I am of old age … both in outlook and this physical age.

I can appreciate that this is not your cup of tea … we all have our path to travel and not all paths are exactly alike … nor are they on the same level and degree of understanding.

Genuine love has always been my only reason for being in this world … to learn of it, live it, and if possible, help others understand it.

Good luck on your journey Russell and thank you for dropping by :)
