Aloha & mahalo KJ. It seems to be the new thing to do in the world of painting these days … never did it when I went to collage. No, I didn’t make this frame … have made others. This frame was supplied by the Festival organizers as they want all works the same size … little one 12”x 12”.

Thank you Mike … painting around the edges seems to be the thing to do over here now … wasn’t my idea though but saves having to frame the work or having blank sides, top & bottom … see it working at any angle of viewing … looks like white strip down the fold line but isn’t on actual work … it’s just the light reflection from camera :)

Hi owlspook … is a lovely place but the idiots in the council here want to pull a lot of the wonderful old buildings around there down to make room for a railway station!! Some of the buildings date back to the 1800’s and should be preserved as heritage – not pulled down … why they need a rail station there for is beyond me … you can walk to the city it is so close!

Thank you Craig. Yes, I’ve been painting for a solo exhibition at end of year … this one was done for an exhibition here in May … am also doing the smaller ones to sell at the local markets … so very busy lately. Hope you are doing well and enjoying the bubble :)
