It was an overcast day in the area of Point Cabrillo, California. The beach was empty except for a charm of yellow finches. The cute little birds, known for their cheerful songs, were gathering on a wrought iron fence. They seemed to be waiting for the sun to come out since the thick dense fog had not quite lifted yet.

A small yellow finch (aka gold finch and American finch) adds bright sunny color and charm to every backyard in which it is found especially on a gray day like this. To have a flock of these brightly colored birds flitting about your yard is practically magical! I found it very peaceful, enchanting and charming …
