Battery Point Light is a lighthouse near Crescent City, northern California, United States. It was one of the first lighthouses on the California coast. Its fourth-order Fresnel lens was lit in 1856.
In 1964, the lighthouse survived a tsunami caused by the strongest earthquake ever recorded in the northern hemisphere with a moment magnitude of 9.2.
Today Battery Point Lighthouse operates as a private aid to navigation, and as a Museum.
A massive, gray fog bank keeps moving fast towards the shore. In half an hour it will swallow Battery Point Light.
