The Dragon - Symbol of the City of London by

The heraldic Dragon symbolises the City of London and the winged creature, bearing the red cross of St George, features in the City’s coat-of-arms.

Bold silver dragons with arrow tongue and tail are standing atop plinth, guarding the entrance to the City which is, by the way, just one Square Mile big and London’s main financial district (the rest of the town is just London).
