Visitors walk through a kind of eerie dramatic re-enactment when they walk through what once was the prison part of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. Shadows are projected on the wall and it is just like you were there — an imprisoned American sailor…
It feels as if the castle’s ghosts were alive, and there are only two flickering lightbulbs between you and pant-wetting darkness.
