Visitors walk through a kind of eerie dramatic re-enactment when they walk through what once was the prison part of Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. Shadows are projected on the wall and it is just like you were there—an imprisoned American sailor…
It feels as if the castle’s ghosts were alive, and there are only two flickering lightbulbs between you and pant-wetting darkness.
