Saw this lone dog wandering around Venice. I wonder do homeless animals yearn for the love of a human that other animals receive? Do animals have self esteem and know what it feels like to be unloved?
I always wondered this too, a lot of stray cats in Europe and stray dogs everywhere. In Australia where I’m from most dogs or cats are pets not strays, so it’s somewhat confronting being overseas and seeing so many stray animals everywhere
