I shot this in lapland in 2007. It was -35 and the lense kept freezing up. I was kneeling in the snow with my tripod, it was one of those beautiful moments I will remember for ever. I had never seen the northern lights before, they really took my breath away!
Thanks for all the comments, I love the pic myself but thats more to do with the memory. The northern lights are something well worth experiencing. The pic has been photoshoped, when I took the photo I did use a flashlight to bring out the trees, with that exception its all natural.

Aren’t they gorgeous?? I have only seen the white ones but I would love to see these ones. It takes great determination to get the greatest of shots.
