The Hualapai Indians call this rock ‘Eagle Rock’. If you look close you can see the eagle with it’s wings out wide and getting ready to land.

    Beautifully captured.

  • Thanks for your comments Julianne and for the favourite. It was awesome and we danced with the Hualapai Indians whilst we were there. Such a lot of fabulous memories.

Looks amazing! A top shot, the colour is magic.

    Gabe :)

  • Thanks Gabe for the wonderful comments and fave. You are so kind. As you can see we went to the Grand Canyon whilst over in Las Vegas and danced with the Hualapai Indians. A number of years ago, my sister, sister-in-law and I had made a pact to travel overseas for our big birthdays, so this is what we did and had a fabulous time.

Great colour and textures Christina! Beautiful capture!

  • Thanks so much for your wonderful comments Arfan and for the fave. I had such a lovely holiday and the Grand Canyon was the icing on the cake. I had only taken my small Panasonic Lumix camera to make it easier to travel and as it wasn’t a photography holiday, I was so lucky to get some real beauties.

  • Thank you Felicity for your wonderful comments and for the fave also. I can see why the indians call it Eagle Rock.

And the eagle swoop[s out at one when the pic is enlarged! Unusual contrast of sunlit foreground rock and the background rock in shadow. Altogether very dramatic, Christina.

  • Thank you Bette for your wonderful comments. I really appreciate you dropping by and viewing my images.
