Wonderful capture,……Makes me wonder,…Where are all the people at?

  • I paid them to get off the seats!!! LOL. Although it doesn’t look like it in the pic, I had got up before dawn to get down to the beach for the sunrise shots, so there weren’t many people out and about. The sunrise was a bit of a fizzer so I was looking around for other things to photo!!!

Love the angle of this! It hasn’t changed! Nice shot girlfriend! Good to see you could clear the crowd out of the chairs and in the way of your beautiful shot! LOL!

    Gabe :)

  • It was easy to get the crowd off the seats …. Especially because they were still in bed!!!! I liked the angle of this one too. Thanks Gabe.

Outstanding shot, love the colors and perspective, and what a beautiful place, Christina !

  • Thank you very much for your lovely comments Elfriede. I had heard this is the oldest hotel along the beach front and now most other places tower above it, the Royal Hawaiian really stands out because of the colour … Hence the nickname, the pink palace.

The pink and turquoise combination is so delightfully retro, and this is definitely a classic shot!

  • It is a great old place and lots of style. It certainly stands out along Waikiki Beach. Thanks for your lovely comment and fave Celeste.
