For my 89 year old mother with love …

My mother was very ill in hospital when I was working on this image. She has since been discharged and is doing well. She is very touched by all your heartfelt wishes and asks me to thank you all very much.

The last of the summer blooming David Austins in my garden, taken with a Canon EOS 450D, 55-250 zoom hand held. Layered one texture from Shadowhouse and with three textures from my own stock photography.

I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t create, it’s as natural to me as breathing, especially now that we have the tools to achieve great art with digital photography. It’s so exciting and I feel that my creativity has finally come to fruition with these fantastic digital tools.
