From my study window clear
Things appear both far & near
Sturdy grass that tries to green
Dam & pasture – rural scene
Sheep & llamas munch along
In dry grass, thick & strong
In the valley, down below
I see a thirsty river flow
Bush & weeds & red earth stays
A parrot bird sings & preys
Fruit trees , gum trees-just a few
Life goes on- as life will do
