Evolution

We now live in a knitted world
A netted web collecting all our thought
in the grid of its electric sieve.
So sometimes in the surfing hours
in that far flung dark and silver age
gathering random pages from the night
we escape the light tenancy of flesh
to drip like pollocks of paint
into an abstraction
beyond the limb and lever of our reach.

Indeed we do. I love watching you in deep meditation, but you already knew that. It’s also nice to see you use so few words to relay such a compacted message. I use these types of poems for teaching young poets the importance of “unpacking” a great text. And I’m sure glad the universe knit us together in the grid of its electric sieve(when it did). :) xox
