Drawing from life is of course a skill that needs a lot of practice, but drawing in ink is one of the best ways to practice accuracy. Each mark cannot be undone, which forces you to see your mistakes and be more confident and certain with every mark.

This is one of many quick life drawings I did in coloured indian ink. My girlfriend and I spend a lot of time drawing each other, it’s a great way to practice and a fun little date!
