The boy went wicked
hunting butterflies;
the scoundrel hunted, he gave them a kiss,
And he let them go among the roses.

By land, in a matting,
There was a sycamore;
a sun ray hits them, and from the log,
Dead, leaves flying a golden bird.

    Jose Marti has always been the most difficult writer to translate, but I think I started to like doing this, I have started a project of compiling all my translations in a book, that someday soon I hope will be ready for publication. In webook.com an Anthology of Spanish poetry is in progress now.
    thank you for your encouragement
