The finished product will be the AVATAR if the group and as such a collage of 2 pieces of art
A Picture with writing on it works very well BUT there is always avenues to include other such combinations [ie in the case of David Parkin’s fantastic videos I would create a line on the overview page that adds the link to the video for people to view!]

◘ In the first 2 weeks
☼ 1 ☼ Current EEG member seeks inspiration for creation of Ekphrasis Art from a NON EEG member
• NB NO THEME! – even though it coincides with the change of the season that’s not true of both hemispheres of the world & also not everyone holds the same philosophical understandings or believes in the same religion and the ceremonies tend to only go for a day or two not 3 months!
So not seasonal or celebratory, etc – just whatever you feel is exceptional ekphrasis art creation!

☼ 2 ☼ Current member invites this non EEG member to join the EEG & upload said ekphrasis inspiration piece
• NB links to eachother in the description boxes is highly desirable (Making Links: )

☼ 3 ☼ Both old and new EEG members enter their ekphrasis piece or inspiration pieces into the forum challenge thread – each add a link to their own work in the thread
• NB 2 entries per couple – a) Old member’s ekphrasis & b) New member’s inspiration for the old member’s ekphrasis DO NOT COLLAGE the two YET!!!

☼ 4 ☼ Multiple entries are acceptable BUT each ekphrasis is to be a different piece to a NEW NON EEG member [~FOR EXAMPLE~: not the same poem to a photographer’s art and then a sculptor’s art]

◘ In the third week
☼ Entries will close
☼ Voting will begin
• Members need to vote on 1st 2nd 3rd placing
• (In the case of the entrants 1st will be their own work [obviously!] lol)
• Votes can be in the Voting thread or for anonymity bmailed to Chookas

◘ In the last week
☼ The winning couple will be announced
☼ Their winning art collated into the Avatar Collage & becomes the Avatar for the next 3 months
☼ Finally the current avatar retires to the avatar hall of fame at the bottom of the overview page to be seen by all (especially new members joining) for the rest of the EEG’s existence!
