This mountain, which I forget the name of, is somewhere between Cape Wrath and Skye on the west coast of Scotland. I’ve driven past so many of them but can name only a few, probably because I never read a map.

Great capture. This mountain, which I climbed many years ago with my dad, is called Stac Polly. The views from the top are stunning!!

Ah, thank-you Iain. There aren’t too many like it. I’ve driven the Wester Ross coastal trail many times now, usually ending my journey at Balnakiel Beach…but I’ve only ever been up two Scottish peaks…Sgurr Alasdair and Sgurr Nan Eag. Stac Polly reminds me of a Cuillin.
