Surely a home is not complete until it’s furnished with dozens, if not hundreds of books. My bookshelves groan (my family too!) and the overflow ends in stacks on the floor. Here’s a glimpse :^)

Thank you for stopping to comment, Sally, very much appreciated.
I’ll have a look at this one in mono…thought it may have been improved by the bright colours…hard to decide sometimes!
(I do love your work! Have added you to my ‘watch’ list :^)

wow ,you sure are a book worm .The only two that I’ve read from that pile are …Sally Morgan "My Place " & Carl Sagan “Contact”…..On my final book of the trilogy series from Stieg Larsson “The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets’ Nest”…Great read……….
Yes, books have always been my biggest addiction! (RedBubble is now a very close second!) I’m waiting for Larsson’s Milennium Trilogy to come out as a boxed set. What a delicious treat awaits :^))
Who knows….Eva may complete the fourth book if she wins the rights over his estate. I hope she does!

Yes,it’s an interesting saga going on in the courts.I forgot to mention about your shot:)) Which is why it’s so good(your pic)…because it gets you talking about books, which I find as enjoyable as reading them
Yes, yes….couldn’t agree more. One of the best books I’ve read in the last couple of years is Cormac McCarthy’s, The Road. (In the pile at right, bottom third of shot :^) It’s going to be made into a movie, but they’ll be hard pressed to do it justice.

I’ll check the book out sometime. It happens all the time with books into movies.Dan Browns “da Vinci code” is one that comes to mind
Yes, good example…the da Vinci Code was a good read (even if no literary masterpiece) and the movie was good too, but in the end, I preferred the book!

I like the way you framed this…I’ve got too many books also…lol.
Ha ha….yes, scary isn’t it sometimes….they just take over! But they really do become like old friends, always there to sit down with, along with a cup of tea and a cookie or two :^)) Thanks for your kind comment too!

Love the stacks – the furniture, a home, yes. Great shot.
Hi again Deb, thanks for stopping to comment again. Believe it or not, the stacks have grown since I took this shot. I simply must get shelves built in the third bedroom!! :^)) V.
