Took this as part of The Rutland Photographer of the Year 2010 competition. I didn’t win overall.. but four of my images, including this one, will be published in a book due for release spring 2011!

Telegraph lines make this evenings perch for these birds just outside Barrowden, Rutland, UK. The picture depicts well Rutland’s simplistic beauty. Picturesque views such as this visible even when the sun is going and silhouettes are all that’s left.

I took this one summer evening whilst shooting the sunset.
The location is just next to my house and im gutted I haven’t noticed it before! Saw these crows sitting on the telephone lines and thought it made a great image. I photographed them for ages but I think this is best one.
