This old boat is sitting on the edge of Lake Michigan. It is basically getting ready to be dismantled and recycled based on the torches that were near the bow. I finally got a chance to shoot a long exposure of this ship. Luckily you cant see the pigeons that kept flying in and out. Processed to give it the gritty look it deserves. Black and White is the only way to adequately display this old fire boat from Chicago.

    It’s sad when they take them apart. Another bit of History somehow down the tubes. Glad you go the shot before she’s gone.
