This beautiful concept car was revolving slowly in the Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills MI. My father really liked the car so I thought I would see what I could do with it. The museum was nice enough to let me use a tripod, which I have never been able to do in a museum before. Very cool of them. I shot this in RAW and changed it to monochrome. Sharpened and reduced the little bit of noise from the slow spin of the car. Processed HDR.
I really like how this turned out.
Oh yea it was called a Chrysler Atlantic if I remember right.

Lovely HDR – shame it cant be cropped to remove the distracting car in the top left…. technically tho its really crisp and the detail from the hdr process is great especially the reflection in the windscreen. Nice job

  • I tried hard to not get it in the photo. I waited for 20 minutes for it to rotate to take my second shot. Thank you for the critique.

Pleasure – not too critical i hope – I know its sometimes difficult to get the shot you want and when it doesnt happen its a case of make do with the best of the circumstances…. Like i say, lovely HDR. Keep up the good work.

  • Oh no. I really need honesty. That is how you get better. Thanks.

    absolutely great perspective!

  • Thank you. I was on the stairs leading to the third floor with my tripod leaning over the edge. Just glad I didn’t lose my new camera over the edge.

Love the shot and with the monochromatic coloring – looks futuristic …. like this is how you will park hovering cars in the future- BRAVO

  • Never even thought of it like that. Kinda cool.

Crisp and eye-catching. The background is a little cluttered but you can’t be blamed for that. A lovely conversion to mono too.

  • I would have loved to have this angle parked in a square white room. Thanks

Superb. Distractions and all. I think the choice of mono/hdr help to bring out the lines of the subject and separate it from the background. The realistic setting makes it look like it belongs in the future – not a gallery.

  • Wow. I really appreciate your comment. Makes me feel like I did it right. Thank you very much.
