what would you be willing to do
to make the world look closer,
to pay attention?
how much could you sacrifice if you knew
that it would make a difference,
that it would be remembered?
it is because of ignorance and intolerance
that we suffer and cause suffering.
a fire burns within us all,
trying to light the darkness.
some smother it, searching for the cold corners of their soul,
while other let their’s consume them completely for the benefit of those to come.
Let us allow our flame to light up the darkness,
that no one should be consumed.
