Love the composition the most in this image, the way the bench and white line criss-cross and create the aesthetic quality of the image. There is also the strong connection of texture with the cat providing the contrast and focal point – he looks so listless whilst everything around him is so hard edge! Great image!
ellwo wittle wednesday!!! Wednesday looks sooo comfortable but not… Surely a cat can find a better place to sleep… like a cosy lap or at least a soft chair… or even a cardboard box. We have a cat called Michael and all he ever does is sleep except when he’s at cricket training or out drinking with his mates. Its a fantastic shot by the way. : )
I understand you chimps really hate cats… however the treatment this little furry creature got was perhaps uncalled for!! firstly you aked her to lay there still and not move, she refused, you then bribed her with mice and other kitty delights, she still wold not stay still, finally you and your chimp mates decided there was only one possible way to make a cat lay still for a photo shoot……………poor little kitty
I must admit to being sorely dissapointed… at first glance at the thumbnail I thought it was a shot of a cat being thrown through the air ala dali. Throwing cats is a great passion of mine, I find it particularly refreshing, good exercise with a large dose of humour depending on where the cat lands. In pools are always a good option. I have also noted if they land one their feet and must say the little buggers are quite good at that one however if you put enough spin on they don’t do quite as well. Anyway aside from that a good shot.
