charcoal freehand sketch. some chalk and pastel. 16.5″ × 24″. Face was worked into a likeness with pastels, which was a bit of a mistake maybe since the texture of the image is a bit out of balance. I think i’ll pastel in the sea and clouds ( when I have time ) to get the balance right.
