A posting just for fun to share the antics of my night visitor. Please note … he is neither a stuffed toy or a superimposed shot!! He just invited himself in. Koalas are quite regular visitors to the trees in my Adelaide suburban area … but this was just a tetch pushy I thought!!

    When was this??

  • This evening about 10.15pm Scratched at the window that looks into my office. Thought ChiChi had got locked out. Had long discussion with him/her on the balcony … time to grab camera and put ChiChi away … but left front door open …. and this is the result!!! Bathroom visit and then inspection of bedroom and lounge.!!!

This is the cutiest little thing. If only you could hear my noises now…LOL I love him. He looks so friendly.

  • Yes … but the claws are incredibly sharp … so not to be cuddled unfortunately …. it was a little like trying to herd cats to get him out again.!!!

so cool……nothing like that here, just foxes and raccoons and deer and opossums and ground hogs and weasels…and if ANY of them ever came in the house I’d faint. Seriously.
Thank you so much for sharing this!!!!!

  • Robin I just had to … really took the shots to prove that the visit had actually taken place!! We have possums and foxes …. but then not those wonderful bandits (raccoons) or ground hogs or weasels.
I did not faint … but kept a wary eye on the claws as he was not at all worried about my presence.

It’s so interesting that he felt comfy inside, walked around, etc. Do they make noise? He looks like he might make a snurgley barking sound?

  • More like a ghastly ‘in pain’ kind of grunt. And quite loud. But he didnt … just made himself at home!!!

LOL!! he is so adorable!!! – what a wonderful expression, he made himself quite at home at your place.

  • Absolutely, and he was quite reluctant to leave!! He/she was quite unflustered and unconcerned …. even with the flash of the camera. It was a time not to worry about settings ,.. I just relied on “auto”.

  • Exactly. I know I have told you about my night visitors ..,. but this was taking the idea of “visit” to the extreme. Thanks for the visit and hello Wendi!!
