Black-shouldered Kite
Black-shouldered Kite (elanus axillaris).
I have spent many rewarding and challenging
hours in the great outdoors finding and
photographing some of Australia’s wonderful wildlife.
Here I present a piece featuring a beautiful bird
of prey: the Black-shouldered Kite.
I find it a striking bird with its snowy white
feathers and intense amber/orange eyes.
On a couple of occasions I have been able
to get close views of them in the wild. I
hope you enjoy this montage.
