About the Artist: Cheryl White has studied various painting techniques, life drawing, print-making and ceramics. Being creative has always been her passion. “My interest is in symbolic artwork and communication through the use of imagery”

Cheryl has combined her love of painting and desire to share with others by creating intuitive Portraits she calls The Magic Mirror using imagery to tell a person’s life story in visual form. This portrait work allows her to connect on a human-to-human level.This requires a lengthy face-to-face consultation. There are no examples of these portraits on Redbubble because they are commissioned, very personal pieces of art and not for reproduction. There will soon be a website to view these artworks.

Cheryl also enjoys creating Illusionary Paintings which have hidden images within them. This unusual style of artwork gives an opportunity to stretch the imagination and see through fresh eyes. Each unique painting offers new discoveries, bringing about a sense of surprise and satisfaction.
Some of her work includes Animal Totems usually done is pastel. Cheryl captures what these animals feel like as much as what they look like. Many people are naturally drawn to an animal that has signi…cant meaning for them.

Through expressive art workshops, Cheryl shares her discoveries about the power of painting as a form of communication. Her workshops are offered locally through Community Service agencies or private groups.
