This world is only temporary
So many people of this world strive to achieve such unimportant goals. Fame, Wealth, Power, just to name a few. Those who achieve these goals are receiving their rewards in this world, without realizing that they are only temporary and only of this world. The highest reward anyone can receive is the gift of eternal life. It is a gift that waits for us all, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and receive your eternal reward. Achieving your place in Heaven is THE goal we all should strive for. Rewards of this world are TEMPORARY.
Rewards in Heaven are ETERNAL.

There is something happening in our world today, that is addressed more and more openly such as it is being addressed here in CheyWings comments.
Some people think it’s the same old new-age prattle, but it isn’t. There is a movement towards Jesus, or God consciousness. It usually involves increased love and creativity, and the growing intuitive knowledge in a person’s heart that God is everywhere and also wants to share a our lives in each person’s heart; if they only ask for His continued presence there. Free will is very important – so you must ASK God to be a part of your total life, inside, and out.
People are beginning to appreciate the diversity of life, but at the same time, long for the Oneness that is God. We can approach this Oneness by adopting a more w/holistic viewpoint or perspective towards our reality. This is why some people have predicted a paradigm shift that may become more and more prevalent as 2012 approaches. A shift towards the understanding that all things are connected and interdependent, and therefore seen that all of life is One and each and every one of the individual constituents has value. We are, One Family.
Many people believe that we are at a critical time in our evolutionary development and that we have some serious spiritual obstacles and problems that involve religious and cultural differences and environmental problems looming ahead; but the consensus is that if we work together with goodness in our hearts and as good moral people, we can find the proper solutions and overcome anything that confronts us.
