Sea Shells

Watching them rush to Me,
Each different in Shape, Color and Size,
Each holds Special Meaning,
Like I found my Lucky Shell.
I hold them close,
Keep them from washing back out to Sea.
In my pocket is a handful of shells

nicely written Cheyenne (big smile) … reminds me of when I lived on the coast of Oregon .. walking the beach and finding treasures (big smile) …alas when I moved to wyoming I had to leave most of my treasures behind (sigh)

  • :i, when I go to the coast, my vehicle is loaded up with shells and such. I can’t leave them alone. I’m a rock and shell person, I love them. I have also collected many a rock with a shell imprint. Have you ever seen one like that? It’s amazing, so beautiful.
Thank you, I’m so pleased. This as I put was inspired by Layveena’s Shells. =)

ah I’m like that too .. my collection in ten years time was about four feet square or more of boxes .. dang they just weighed too much to ship to wyoming (sigh) … yes I have seen those kinds of rocks .. they’re cool (big smile)

  • They are so cool, I have found many awesome rocks. Real Arrowheads, rocks with shells and imprints in them, odd round rocks that look like muffins or a large door knob, sharp rocks, ones with letters in them, shiny insides ones, and root-beer colored rocks and red and purple rocks. You name them, I’ve probably seen them =)
