Why do they do it? How can they do it? What fuels their inner fire to put the flames out in buildings? What gives them the strength to risk their lives to save yours? Where do they find it inside themselves to forgive you if you’ve hurt them? Why do they care so much? Does it take an extraordinary person to be a Hero? Or can anyone be a Hero? Why are Firefighters the unsung Heros? How come we don’t have a Holiday entitled Firefighter Day? A day where the Firefighters in your life or town become King or Queens for a day. Why does God call so many Firefighters home? Why do people have the need to start fires? Why can’t they just respect what is, and leave it alone? How come I’m blessed to know so many Firefighters? Oh thank you so very, very VERY much!!!! I wrote this because I have two very important men in my life/family that are San Antonio, Texas Firefighters! My brother, which I wrote this for one night, it just hit me, I was making it for him, but it didn’t seem right to be just for one person. Any one that can run into a burning building, cutting you out of cars, cook that well, slide down those poles (LOL) deserves to know how much their under appreciated heroic deeds means to Me/Us. I hope he likes it. BTW the that is a flame, two flames, from the pilot light on my stove. One was darkened, and the other left in original form. Then I went and swirled them together. Again thank you! It means the world to me to hear that you like this! =) =) =) ROCK ON ROBBI!!!!
