For as far back as i can remember, drawing and painting has guided my life.I was born with a pencil in my hand and my earliest memories of my artistic abilities was winning an art prize as a 9 year old.

After a trip to Latin America (which was UNreal), I was deeply impacted by the poverty of the people, yet was inspired by their joy and passion in spite of their circumstance…. So…. i tried to focus my artistic expression on the simple things in life which brings joy.
I describe my ‘technique’ as what distinguishes my work especially in my paintings. The movement in my paint work and brush strokes together with my composition is important to me. I drip the paint on the canvas and do not physically touch the canvas with my brush and having carried a journal with me everywhere i go i love to draw with my pen as i wait for time to pass, placing visual pieces together to create an image wherever i may be.

My range of styles are from minimalist pieces, to works inspired by places i have visited to the innocence of children and what makes them happy.
