A majority of my art work is inspired by child hood memories of my Grandfather’s ranch in the sprawling hills of Trabuco Canyon in Southern California. My soul longs for the simplicity and peace that resonates within old barns, abandoned homes and vast meadows. The vein of my work is a combination of digital painting and a photograph. I want the viewer to wonder, “Is it a painting? Or a photograph?” Bordering on fantasy, reality and the pages of story books.

I am currently a texture artist for fine art photography as well as the co-creator of the Distressed FX iPhone photo editing app. I am a city girl gone country currently residing in the hills of East Tennessee. I collect chickens, lover of music and cicada serenades.

“Her artwork is of a magical world filled with butter skies, golden fields, crooked covered porches, guardian birds, sweetness and sometimes sorrow. It allows us to look into that child’s face and see deeper or reach out and touch that soft retriever’s ears. It is always a story…sometimes a fairytale, sometimes a poem, sometimes a page out of a diary.

Her artwork is always inspiring and her kind words – encouraging. Her natural talents are enriched with, what I have gathered, her humility and grace.”

Virtual Lives

I have been on Flickr for many years however I have been unhappy with the format these days. I decided it was time to venture out to other sites. I notice more and more sites have their own social networking aspect vs. just being a place to sell art. How does everyone do it? How much time do we have to really give it our all on each site? I just don’t know anymore. I am having a renewed fee…
