I reckon I would have tried to get in more closer though just so its easier to pick out yukkie details :-)
Because that would have probably given you flash problems like cooking the snake lol you could diffuse you flash.
There are a number of ways to do that with stuff you’ll have around the house, tracing paper, tissue paper, even old 35mm film cannisters the clear kind. This just depends on the flash you have. You’ve made a great start keep at it. Good luck :-)
