What Redbubble has done for me.

Its now six in the morning and i’ve been awake since half two, with my Fibromialga and desided to put this down having joined the group who ask this question.
Rb has done wonders or should i say the people here have, As anyone with this illness will tell you it can be a nightmare at time and drags you down with it at any chance it gets. Its a battle or a war you might say but i grin and bare it as so many do.
When i came across redbubble i thorght o wow another place to show my work but this world that is RB is so much more and we dont often say thank you to all those littel comments and single words but they all are part of it.
At that time and at times since they i have been in some very dark places where to pain has had me up all night and the teard are running down my my face as they are at the moment. And its at those time i go over all those comments and they are better than any tonic.
RB has given me a lot of my conferdance back and i have some friends here who have even gone as far as challenging sight that have stolen my work. Something with my illness i would have found diffecult to if not inpossible to do myself as stress feeds this illness.
When ever i get the chance to log on this is always the first place i come and i dont have to put up any walls. Here in RB there is something for everyone and if you need help or advice there are always other artist, writer, or individuals willing to help where they can.
And this is what Redbubble has done for me, thank you to all of you for all your comments

Through all your pain you do such amazing beautiful work. It’s a lesson for all of us that we can create beauty even through adversity. Keep up the wonderful work, I always enjoy seeing what you’ve created and have my print of ‘The Goddess Hecate Goddess of Witchcraft and Cross Roads hung proudly in my bedroom.

  • CherrieB replied

Hi Apostle i’m proud to know Hecate has pride of place, it will be intresting to see what comes out of this, but where i can i always look for that glips of light in the storm

Cherrie it must be very hard to stay positive in your position but you do seem to manage to do it and I think that is very important. It shows through your art and I know that creating is a great healer and when you lose yourself in your work it is such a great escape. RB is a wonderful place to share your art and I agree the encouragement received is most rewarding.

Hi Deborah, i’m pretty good a keeping focused but at time this illness could drive even a saint to maddness. And i’m usely the one who looks out for everyone else so it nice to have this pool of friends to share it with. Sometimes even just writing it down here helps and with out the constant flow of images buzzing round my headI’m sure i would have lost it by know. But then i say to myself that some of the best artist there have ever been were a bit loopy so at least i’m in good company.
To change the subject how did the meeting with the specalist go, I hope it was good news as you where in my thorghts even with all that been going on. Bye for now my friend Cherrie

I feel so connected on Red Bubble. It is a wonderful feeling that you don’t get on other sites ( which tend to only showcase art, but not the artist.) I feel I have made many friends ( you included CherrieB) even though you are on the other side of the world, it is a real gift to have such a warm community, with like minded souls ( such as yourself). So take all the time you need to heal, ( we’ll all be here), love and lots of hugs and tissues, XXXXXOOOOO
