Fibromialga update 2

Hi everyone, been a while since i added anything about my illness (fibromialga) and now the snows finaly gone i’m feeling mutch better. Like so many here in the UK our local council didny grit the road where i live, but still managed to send out a street sweeper when the snow was several inchs deep.
When its cold i tend to suffer more just keeping warm can be difecult as my own thermostat is well messed up. i can be sweating and burning up whilst my teeth are chattering with cold.
The latest development is now there sending me to a foot specalist to look into the ligerments under each foot, with the posability of useing steriod injections or more likely an operation as they also they also belive i have a growth on the tendons so i maybe layed up for a while so if i’m missing for a few week don’t worry its just that i cant get up the stairs.
The head stuff or brain fog has also been playing up, which wase’t helped by filling out an incapasity form. I wonder how they would feel if i asked them about there toileting needs and the embarisment of falling over in the street and being treated like a drunk. The chance would be a fine thing, as its now one of those intolarances that has a server reaction with me.
But thats another story, and i’m sure all of you have simerla expereances. But art wise i feel everything is on the up, some of the current range of ideas have me quite excited and i this i belive is help by Mother Nature starting to bring new life to the garden once more. I hope the rest of you are doing well and love an light goes out to you all, Cherrie B

I hope the weather warms quickly for you. I know it is a long shot, but have you tried traditional Chinese medicine? I know someone who lives here with the early stages of it and its progress has been halted with whatever the Chinese doctor is doing.

Hi Kliu yes i have given it a try, i found acuputure gave me some time away from the pain and i use a number of anti inflamitors that i grow in my ever expanding herb garden and i tend to avoid things that set it off, But at the same time i will work on my art a bit to much and push myself a bit to far at times, but that life give your friend my best bye for now Cherrie

Take care Cherrie – I find the cold really hard too and I really relate to the filling out of incapacity forms – when I was placed on disability because of the fibromyalgia, it was one of the most invasive and impersonal times of my life. And every two years when some child fresh out of social work college interviews me and I have to explain what fibro is all over again to someone who does not comprehend the pain and the confusion of this illness, it makes me want to scream. And then theres the people who tell me it will get better – until I point out theres no cure -

    Hang in there sweetie:)

Hi Marg, my partner says i should write a comerdy about this forms, just for that reason i remeber going for an assesment and this doctor telling me to put down my stick and put my hands up. i told him it was a bad idea, i tryed doing what he ask and then promtley fell on top of him, he was then very red and all those who witnessed it where cracking up.
