Young Love Lorn Hern

This is the first of the new works since i took the choice to up my game. This image was compleated on A3 whilst trying to keep the level of detail my work has become know for.
Hern sits among the forest pondering his love for the goddess around him the trees are full of magic as colourfull fairys fly around the young king of the eternal forest. In his hand he cluchs a bunch of roses the flowers of love, whilst the stones and trees contain magical symbols and runes, which if you look close you may find but there are many more than even a close look will see, but then isnt that there perpose.
Surronding the central image i have added a celtic tree of life its spiral tiped with Oak leaves the symbol of the young and youthfull greenman at the same time i have reinforced this with a green man in each corner all of which are unique
