The Crone

This image has been on my wall now for a while and thorght i would share it with you all.
The Crone is linked to wisdom and magicunlike most of my art here the crone is done in acrlics whilst the butterflys are heavy fabric and the whole thing hangs like a tapestry.
Some years ago i came across an old quote “To kill a butterfly is to kill a witch” and this has stayed with me and has lead to me useing butterfly somewhere in all of my work
