THE HAT Written by SALLY OMAR
He was quite handsome
His eyes so very blue
I turned to look at him
He looked at me too
He had a hat
Sitting on his head
And a smile on his face
I blushed and turned red
The hat was so perfect
And his eyes twinkled
He had a cleft in his chin
And a wee bit of a wrinkle
He turned around
And walked my way
And whispered to me
“Hope you have a nice day”
I smiled and said
“Thank you so much”
And turned again
Saying “Are you in a rush?”
I sketched him that day
And enjoyed his company
He was a gentleman
As pleasant as one could be

You sketched this??? Oh, Jo .. you have a marvelous talent … This is wonderful… I like that you gave the eyes color. I adore the lines in his face .. the ceases in his hat and shirt … the indent in his chin ..
The shadowing along only one side of his face … I do that too .. so of course I love it! I am thrilled with this piece of art !!
