This is a nice shot Crystal. The area of focus is tight and “lateral” with as you say “space between”. Do you recall what f/stop was used? Another question; is your title in reference to DMB? In any event; your gallery proves you are seeing the light; keep up the great work!

Thank you for such a sweet comment! I don’t recall exactly… but whenever I can get away with it I use the lowest f/stop I can, DOF is one of my favorite photographic elements to play with! :) Probably 5.6 if I had to venture a guess. While I had not named this piece after the DMB song title, I certainly am very familiar with them and love their music! Thank you so much for stopping by!

You’re right! I can’t wait, but unfortunately I must :-( Meanwhile I’m enjoying just mucking around with the mobile phone, sometimes adding DOF with the editing software, though I don’t like it near as much as the ‘real’ thing!
