We want 1 million of you Facebook users so we can really make a statement!

As I’m sure most of you have come to realize, we are getting bombarded with negative news coverage on all the major news networks – do they really work ‘for the people’?

I have come up with this initiative to petition, on Facebook, at least 1 million global citizens who want more positive news coverage.

Let our voices be heard that we no longer wish to hear about the war on this and the war on that – enough galvanizing about this issue!

This fictitious war that has no end. Lets stop feeding it our attention as it does not serve anyone of us. It has been created to keep us on opposing sides. We don’t want this duality any longer, we want polarization – this means empathy and compassion to see both sides of the story.

We no longer wish to hear about global economics – this fear tactic also no longer serves us and puts us into a state of constant worry. We no longer wish to buy into this lie as the Universe is abundant.

So lets hear the ‘good news’. The global consciousness awakening. The people who are waking up from the Matrix that has had us dumbed down for eons.

We want to have at least 1 positive reported story per news bulletin (and I’m not talking about mindless, cutesy things either), proper uplifting stuff. We want at least 1 reporter per news channel/network who is devoted to seek out positive and uplifting stories.

We want to know more about what the Dalai Lama has to say, not some overpaid, sexually frustrated politician.

We want to know more about the positive lead up and changes that are happening en route to 2012. We’ve heard about all the ‘doom and gloom’ prophecies – now lets hear the real stuff that is happening.

We know it’s out there and just like Prime Media’s initiative ‘Lead SA’ (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lead-SA), we know that there are people out there spreading the news of unconditional love and compassion. So a message to all the major global networks is this:-

“We know what you have been doing and we have become conscious enought to know what we actually want. Give us the good news…”

I will be presenting this petition (once we have reached the 1 million marker) to all the global (and local) networks such as SKY, CNN, FOX, SABC, ETV, BBC and AL JAZEERA.

So please forward this to as many people as possible. With joint effort we can do this!

Thank you all for your support…I would like to close in saying that I have had a song ‘swimming’ around my head for days now and when I came up with this idea last night the song made sense…I will sign off now with a line from this sone:

“We’re not droplets in the ocean, we ARE the ocean!”
